You cannot take a driving test without having first obtained a certificate of completion of the Traffic Safety Course VKU. You also need to have a valid Swiss learner’s permit in order to take the Traffic Safety Course VKU.

Details
The Traffic Safety Course VKU consists of eight lessons that you can take in blocks of 4×2 or 2×4 lessons. The Traffic Safety Course VKU is designed to sharpen your ability to evaluate traffic situations and respond appropriately to various circumstances. You will also receive important tips from professionals on how to develop a brisk, safe and eco-friendly driving style.

Traffic observation, traffic environment, traffic dynamics, driving tactics
Time
Traffic Safety Course VKU lessons take place either from 6 pm to 10 pm or from 6:50 pm to 8:50 pm.
Location
The Traffic Safety Course VKU is offered in the Horgen or Zurich districts.
Cost
4×2 or 2×4 lessons, each 50 minutes = CHF 150
